LIZA’S PB CHOC. CHIP COOKIES

½ cup butter
¼ cup shortening
½ cup peanut butter
⅔ cup brown sugar
⅔ cup sugar
½ tsp. vanilla

1 egg
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1⅔ cup flour
1 cup chocolate chips


Cream butter, shortening, and sugars. Add peanut butter. Stir in vanilla and egg; mix in baking soda and salt. Mix in flour. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes, until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on cookie sheet 3-5 minutes.
