CREAM PIES (BANANA OR COCONUT)

3 Tbsp. corn starch
1 to 3 egg yolks

1 cup water
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup evaporated milk
1 to 1½ tsp. vanilla
sugar (½ cup for coconut; ⅔ cup for banana)
1 cup coconut for coconut pie
Approximately 2 sliced bananas for banana pie


Mix all together except for coconut or bananas, and stir constantly until thickens (about 10 minutes on the stove) or cook in microwave on high, stirring every three minutes. Makes filling for one pie.
